I'd Like To Request "SULLY" ?

A tragedy turned "Miracle on the Hudson"

Next time I fly - I want the guy flying it to be the pilot who Landed this Airplane gently and safely into the Hudson river only five minutes after take-off. Do airlines take requests? I didn't think so - wishful thinking.

Apparently a flock of birds were the cause of the emergency landing, after they flew into the engines.
Chelsey "Sully" Sullenburger became a hero when he landed this jet in the Hudson river near Mid-Town Manhattan! It is unbelievable that all 155 people on board survived and only one woman was reported with an injury.

Angels really do have wings.......

I just flew to Denver Co from Omaha and back again. I went to Denver for the same work related thing 2 months ago. When we landed in Denver that time, there was some kind of malfunction and I believe we may have lost a wheel or tire or whatever they're called on planes. I'm not sure what it was, but I do recall the attendant letting us know that we would be 'deplaning what was left of the aircraft momentarily'. I believe there are quite a few great pilots out there. I do commend our buddy Sully though!!

That was truly unbelievable. Sully is an artist. Can you imagine what it was like to be in NYC and see that plane coming down? Talk about re-trauma.

Our good friend Sheri(and my 3rd daughter) watched pretty much the whole event unfold from her office window. Many said 9/11 was their first thought. Sully is the MAN!!!
